Goal Detection Agent

This agent infers a shopper’s goal from text and session cues and returns it as a session parameter, such as deal_seeker. Its goal detection adapts in real time rather than following static flows, and new personas, flows, and logic can be added without modifying core agents.

It is part of SmartSell.AI, an intelligent sales assistant for retailers that want stronger omnichannel customer engagement across websites, apps, and in-store screens. SmartSell.AI sets a personalized goal for each customer, such as a first-time purchase, an upsell, or re-engagement. It reads behavioral cues like hesitation, rapid browsing, or backtracking and adjusts its approach, for example recommending a bundle instead of a discount. It balances customer journeys with margins, inventory, and loyalty. The system uses Vertex AI, BigQuery, and Dialogflow CX, and integrates with POS, CRM, and ecommerce platforms. Intelligent bundling targets a 10 to 15% reduction in promotion spend leakage.
