Course Structuring Agent - Vertex AI Search Agent

This agent extracts key topics from a syllabus, books, and past question patterns using LLMs, then maps them to a timeline to produce a structured course plan. It parses the source material on its own, orders topics by course duration and learner type, such as school or corporate, and passes the finished plan to downstream agents for content generation.

It is part of EduGenie, which automates course development and assessment in education, from curriculum design to study materials, assessments, and grading. Educators and education organizations are the primary users. By automating course creation, material generation, and evaluation, EduGenie can reduce training content development and delivery costs by up to 70%.
