Product Details
This agent runs the full Terraform lifecycle (init, validate, plan, and apply) to provision the infrastructure described in generated code. It handles CLI operations, secure authentication, remote backend configuration, and execution logging. After receiving validated code from upstream agents, Flint works independently, streams execution logs back to Helix for orchestration and error handling, runs in isolated working directories to avoid state collisions between users, and prepares execution metadata for archiving by Sage.
The agent removes the manual effort, tribal knowledge, and slow back-and-forth of infrastructure provisioning, enabling self-service cloud infrastructure with governance and consistency across environments. It is built for teams that create production-grade Terraform modules from natural language and uses Terraform CLI, a Python subprocess wrapper, GCE VM, and Cloud Storage for backend state.
Key Use Cases
Automated Self-Service Cloud Provisioning
Executes Terraform plan and apply commands in isolated working directories via a Python subprocess wrapper on GCE, provisioning cloud resources safely.
State-Isolated Infrastructure CI/CD Execution
Manages remote GCS backend state locks and streams structured CLI execution logs to orchestrators, eliminating manual infrastructure deployment errors.
