This agent is the central coordinator for SlotSmart, an agentic AI solution that streamlines outpatient scheduling by integrating with hospital EMR systems. It coordinates the other agents, including the Planner, Scheduler, Communicator, and Escalation agents, keeping data flow, timing, context, and task sequencing consistent.

The agent monitors multi-step workflows, manages dependencies and inter-agent communication, maintains conversation history and status flags, and handles fallbacks, retries, and stalled processes. It orchestrates across voice, chat, and email and across calendar and EHR services. The broader solution analyzes patient preferences, provider calendars, and medical urgency to manage booking, rescheduling, and follow-ups, which reduces missed appointments and wait times. The agent improves system reliability, enables scalability, reduces operational errors, and keeps scheduling services highly available for health and public services organizations.
