This agent is the root chatbot for finding EV charging stations. It talks with electric vehicle owners and coordinates other agents to locate and route them to the nearest active charger in real time.
When a user asks for the nearest active station, the Chatbot Agent forwards the query and location to the Search Agent. The Search Agent finds nearby stations and ratings through Google Maps and checks station activity through Pub/Sub. If a station is active, the Chatbot Agent shares its name and rating with the user. After the user confirms, the Routing Agent directs Google Maps to the station. Removing manual searching and routing saves users an average of 60 percent of the effort. The agent runs on Vertex AI, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, and the Google Maps API.
