This agent is the first validation step for natural language queries in a data insight system. It uses Gemini models through LangChain and CrewAI to decide whether a query is actionable, properly structured, and suitable for KPI extraction.
The agent decides on its own whether a query can be answered or should be flagged, and guides the user accordingly. Only valid queries move on to metric extraction and SQL generation, so invalid requests do not consume compute resources or reach production data pipelines.
