Guardian (Policy Validator Agent)

This agent, Guardian, performs static analysis and policy validation on generated Terraform code, ensuring compliance with organizational governance rules before infrastructure is provisioned. It operates independently on Terraform outputs from TerraGenie. When it detects critical violations, it blocks downstream provisioning and signals Helix for re-generation or a user alert. It also provides structured feedback to enrich the audit trail and inform Sage’s memory archiving step.

The agent enforces policy compliance early in the lifecycle, preventing non-compliant resources from reaching production and improving security posture and audit readiness. It checks tagging, IAM, encryption, and network rules before deployment, reducing risk and audit overhead. It suits any vertical that needs infrastructure-as-code governance, including technology, BFSI, telecom, healthcare, and retail, and integrates with a custom rule engine.
