Banking Architecture Assessment Agent

This agent helps financial institutions align their IT architecture with BIAN standards by automating the comparison of a bank’s existing service domains against target BIAN standards. It extracts service domains from code repositories or from business scenarios using OCR, and the Metadata Extraction Agent analyzes uploaded files, including complex sequence diagrams. The BIAN Alignment Engine uses machine learning models on Vertex AI to match analyzed data with the most pertinent BIAN APIs.

The BIAN Comparison and Impact Analysis Agent generates detailed comparison reports, categorizes required changes by impact as high, medium, or low, and provides actionable recommendations and code suggestions to fix deviations. This replaces subjective manual assessments with faster, more accurate, standardized ones. Banks facing gaps in infrastructure modernization and a lack of API standards can reduce integration costs and launch new products and services sooner.
