Product Details
The CourtListener MCP gives access to one of the largest free legal research databases in the United States, covering federal and state case law, court dockets, judges, and oral argument recordings. Lawyers and researchers can search case law and court records, read the full text of opinions and RECAP (PACER) documents, and search for specific passages within them.
The connector can extract and verify legal citations using eyecite to confirm they are real and accurately quoted, manage saved-search and docket alerts to track new filings, and query the CourtListener API directly. Typical uses include legal research and brief writing, catching fabricated or misquoted authority, monitoring active litigation, and building case-law datasets.
Key Use Cases
Automated Legal Citation Verification
