Product Details
Everlaw offers a secure Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that lets AI assistants such as Gemini act on behalf of a signed-in user. Litigation teams can search project data, retrieve documents, fetch document text and metadata, and support natural-language reporting and analysis, while Everlaw remains the governed system of record.
Every action runs with the user’s existing Everlaw permissions, so the assistant reaches only matters the user is already authorized to see. The integration is read-focused and cannot create, modify, export, or delete data. Tools list projects, binders, datasets, metadata fields, and processed uploads, and run structured searches across Bates ranges, metadata, content, coding, productions, and redactions.
Key Use Cases
Permission-Enforced eDiscovery Search
Enables litigation counsel to execute complex compound searches across Bates ranges, document contents, and review coding while strictly respecting governed Everlaw user permissions.
Litigation Binder and Upload Auditing
Allows paralegals and legal analysts to inspect processed document uploads, review binder structures, and retrieve document text metadata without leaving their analytical assistant.
